Just finished my fourth essay this month. In total I have written about 10.000 words (after having read about 10 sources per essay as well) in a month. It feels pretty damn good.
What I have to get on doing is organising shit. I am going to Amsterdam for a coupla days in mid February with some friends...gonna blow off some steam
Also I need to organise my 'Study Tour' this summer. I get to spend 6 weeks in Greece (funded by the university no less) going around sites and museums, looking at collections and commenting on them. So basically uni is paying for me to go on holiday for 6 weeks
I need to figure out where exactly I am gonna go, make an itinerary and submit it though.
My tentative plan is this (working from North to South):
-Kavala (that's where my granddad was from, I would like to see it)
-Mycene (Lot of Bronze age stuff which I am really interested in)
-Athens (pretty standard really)
- Pylos (again the bronze age stuff
-Santorini (amazing wall-paintings)
-Crete (might join a dig there for a while but otherwise wanna see the palaces and stuff)
If there are any intereting places you been to let me know and I'll check it out.

oh and here's still the little rap ditty
whipped up for me
"He's coming at you, party people
From across the ocean,
Kicking up static
And causing a commotion,
If you try to read his name and you think it's odd
Just know the voice of the people is the voice of God!"
